Les dirigeants des deux mouvements se sont rencontrés à Bruxelles les 23 et 24 juillet derniers. La rencontre s’est conclue par un accord historique : la création du premier parti fédéraliste à l’échelle européenne. Le but de cette organisation sera de mettre en place un Etat fédéral européen et de lutter pour une Europe démocratique.

Les premières discussions ont porté sur le programme, les statuts et l’organisation de la nouvelle structure. Le programme complet sera dévoilé lors de la première Convention qui se déroulera en octobre prochain à Paris. Le futur mouvement entend mener son combat politique dans toute l’Europe. Des délégations existent déjà  en Allemagne, Royaume-Uni, Espagne, Portugal, Autriche, Italie, France, Belgique et Irlande.

Europe United est un mouvement européiste de dimension européenne, animé par des militants aux origines très diverses.
Le Parti Fédéraliste est un parti politique qui milite depuis 1995 pour la création d’un Etat Fédéral Européen. Il participe régulièrement aux élections nationales et locales.

Europe United and Parti Fédéraliste to form the first european federalist party

Leaders of both movements met up in Brussels on the 23rd and 24th of July. The meeting led to an historical agreement: creation of the first European federalist party.  The aim of the organization is to bring forth an European federal State and struggle for a more legitimate and fair Europe for citizens.

The first discussions dealt with programmes, statutes and establishment of the organization.  The full political programme will be revealed at the first convention of the party in Paris this October. The associations have still chapters in many States: Germany, UK, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Italy, France, Belgium and Ireland.

Europe United is a pan-European political party, formed by people across Europe who believe in an EU that is at once stronger and more democratically accountable.
The Parti Fédéraliste is a French political party formed in 1995, focused on promoting a Federal European State. The party regularly takes part in local and national elections.
